Free pilot · 30 days

Test it with your own books.
And your team’s phones.

We prepare the app with your library’s branding and you use it for 30 days with your own books. Free of charge, no contract, and without touching your library system or your books’ security tags.

What you get

Everything a meeting can’t show you.

The app with your branding

Your logo, colours and name, with sample data. On Android from day one; on iPhone through an Apple test invitation (TestFlight) as soon as it is available for your pilot.

It reads your real tags

The phone’s NFC reads your books’ HF RFID tags (ISO 15693), or the barcode with the camera. You find out exactly which phones and tags work.

The complete flow

Sign-in, borrowing, two-step return (any tag can act as the return point), digital card, events and notices, in the app’s nine languages.

By design, the pilot does not connect to your library system (it uses sample data) and does not change the security state of your tags, so there is no risk to your collection. It expires automatically after 30 days.

How it works

Four steps, all in writing.

01

You request it

In two minutes: your library, tag type and how many people will test it. Attach your logo if you like.

02

We send it

Within three working days you receive the download link, an installation guide and a 10-point test checklist.

03

You test it for 30 days

Halfway through we check in by email. Every question is answered by email, in your language.

04

You get the report

A compatibility report (which phones and tags work) and the formal quote for your library.

Conditions

What we ask.

Who can request it?

University and higher-education libraries, public or private, in any country. We run a limited number of pilots each month, in order of request.

What do we need?

Books with HF RFID tags (ISO 15693) or barcodes, at least one Android phone with NFC, and a contact person to coordinate the tests.

Does it cost anything or commit us to anything?

No. It is free and there is no contract. We only ask you to answer a short questionnaire at the end about what worked and what didn’t.

What if our tags are UHF?

Phone NFC only reads HF. With UHF, the option is Prestalib Smartphones with an external reader; write to us and we will explain how to test it.
